Do you use your bathtub?
Does anyone use their bath tub to take baths? I have a soaking tub - no jets though - and when we bought the house I swore I would use it. I was so excited to have a seperate tub.
It's been over a year and I still haven't used it! Not even once! 
I keep thinking maybe I should just relax and take a bath today while DH is at work...

We have:
1 regular bathtub - never used.
1 jacuzzi tub - never used
1 hot tub - used *maybe* 6 times in the year we've owned the house
I keep saying I'm going to start using all of them, and it never happens!

we have a really big 2 person jetted tub in our master. I/we  use it often.
It uses way too much water though & we are about to gut that room so we bought a Bain UltraTub
It has air bubbles instead of jets. I plan to use it A LOT

I've taken 2 or 3 baths since we've been in our house. I used to take them ALL the time in the apartment but I think it was just because I knew I had a fresh new tub! hahah
I love baths!!!!!!!!!! Theres nothing better than lighting a candle, fillin up the tub and reading my kindle

I have a soaking tub in our Master and I've used it 2x in the 3 years we are in the house.
The funny thing is, when we were dating we were looking to buy another house and we fell in love with one but the master did not have a seperate tub. Even tho we didnt use it we still wanted one. Weird!

I have a plain old ordinary bathtub. I'm 5'3 and barely fit in it. Occasionally I'll take a bath, especially if I'm feeling crappy. I like to bring in a glass of wine and a good book.
ETA: If you gave me a jacuzzi tub or something with jets, you'd probably never get me out. I think you should christen that tub today!

we have a nice deep big tub with jets - since we've been in the house about 2.5 years, i've used it probably 6-10 times
i LOVE it! but it's time consuming and the water doesn't stay piping hot for that long.. so i only stay in about 20 minutes.
even so, it's really nice and relaxing

I had a real outdoor 8' hot tub in my last house. So awesome. I am getting another hot tub in my new current house after the renovations are done.
When I do my master bath, I am not bothering with a jacuzzi. Why bother with a tiny jacuzzi when the 8' hot tub I have outside is much better.

Just finish renovation my bath and insisted that I get a soaker tub. Honestly I don't think I will ever use it. I can't even take showers alone, I doubt I would ever have the time for a bath alone.

We have one regular tub, gets used every night to wash DS, other than that, never touched except to clean it. Master bathroom has a shower stall, we use that.

This thread is why we did not bother putting a tub in our master bathroom
we put a nice a shower with multiple heads in
in our gues tbath we put a bubble tub - which is very comfortable -only taken one bath myself but my son loves the bubbles

im the same way.... bathing in my filth is not my idea of relaxation..
i think of the shaving cream, my leg hairs i shaved, and other such issues that may be floating around as i am trying to soak and relax.

ok i went in this afternoon for the first time in 13 months of owning this house
it was amazing, i didn't wash myself in there or anything i just soaked to relax. i am going to shower later.
i don't think i could take a bath to get clean but it's nice to soak before or after a shower
i can't believe i waited so long. now i just have to make sure i use it - it really was relaxing especially b/c my tub has the high back and like arm rests in it...i wish it had jets though!

DH uses it a lot more than I do.
He averages about once per month (for his back).
I use it maybe twice per year. It's not relaxing for me - I put all sorts of oils and bubbles and salts in and then I have to clean it when I'm done. Kind of defeats the purpose of getting all relaxed then washing the tub.

No. And I swore I would when we redid our bathroom last year. I like really hot showers though and the bathwater never stays hot enough long enough for me it seems anyway.

I actually do take baths occassionally... usually on stressful days... its very relaxing... i get home before DH so i'll take one then for absolute quiet and peacefulness
