Does this exist? I am being told that section of bethpage is very nice.

Not sure where you are talking about in particular.
Maybe the areas that border Plainview / Old Bethpage (north of the state park). Those areas are nice.

My dh is from the area and when he references north Bethpage, it means the section referring to "north" of the train tracks.

I'm from Bethpage & never heard of anyone use that term to describe any particular part of it.
The northern part of Bethpage is near Plainview & is nice, but I have never heard of it as a section with a name & boundaries, if that makes sense.
No part of Bethpage is really bad, but in general the part near Plainview has bigger houses than the area near Levittown.

I lived in Bethpage for over 15yrs and I've never heard of any part being referred to as Northern Bethpage

Yep, me too..our house borders Plainview. Our neighbors in back of us fall in the Plainview post office. Bethpage schoolsl though.
I think the section north of Stewart Ave is nicer than south.
