Pediatrician recommendation Bellmore area
Hello!
As you can see from my icon I am Nancy and I am pregnant with my first child, due the end of March. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a great Pediatrician in the Bellmore area. I know there are 2 practices I pass everyday on Newbridge Road but I have no idea if they are any good.
Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated.

We use Dr. John Zaso on Merrick Ave in East Meadow. I highly recommend him!

I have a few friends who use Dr. Oppeheimer (not sure of spelling) and like him. One friend is a NICU nurse and another worked for LIJ (OT) and was referred by the staff there.

Bellmore Merrick Pediatrics on Newbridge Rd is awesome! Myself and 4 or 5 of my LIF mommy friends use them and love them! Dr. Jassey comes highly recommended.

Would you travel to Baldwin? Right on Merrick Rd - best pediatrician...Dr. Lippman - LI Pediatrics. I live in CT but my DD got sick just under 8 weeks old. We happened to be on LI visiting family for a few days and she got a high fever...took her to him b/c he's my nephew's pediatrician. He was amazing. Being she was under 2 mos old they had to draw blood and test her urine to make sure she didn't have an infection...he was able to do the bloodwork right there and catheterize her there as well - traumatizing for me but my own ped told me they can't do that in their office and if i were home in CT they would have sent me to the ER where they would have kept her for days and even done a spinal tap. My ped spoke to him over the phone to discuss what to do and she was blown away by Dr. Lippman....highly recommend him! He's so sweet too!

I work with tons of the ped's in the area. I would recommend
Pediatric healthcare of LI - Bellmore - Merrick Ave
They are fantastic. Especially love Dr. Lanzilotta and Goldstein
Bellmore Merrick Ped - Dr. Jassey on Newbridge...although all the ped's are fab
Dr. Rubin - Minola - Fab as well
Dr. Ashourzadeh - Levittown

me three.. i love them both.. and Dr J. Jassey deals with Autistic children (him and Dr. L Jassey are very big in the autism community
