Melville what part / section is this considered????
Ok, so as you know in the past I posted questions about melville.
Originally where I sent my DH to look in the area he came back and wasnt sure....however....we think we werent looking in the correct area.....
soooo....
Last weekend...we were driving around by White Post and somehow wound up in this section that was sooo adorable!
We made I believe a left off of of Old COuntry road and wound up driving in this area that I believe a catholic school and church was at the far end (this prob makes no sense!) It think we drove up to wolf hill road.
MY QUESTION: what part is this???
how is it there....I loved it.

According to GoogleMaps, that's actually South Huntington, not Melville. If you go to GoogleMaps and put in "Wolf Hill Road and Old Country Road, Melville, NY" it'll take you right to that intersection and renames it "Wolf Hill Rd and Old Country Rd., Huntington, NY." I've driven through that area myself (on both sides of 110) and always thought it was really cute too, actually. DH wanted to look there when we were looking for houses but they were just a little over our price range and I'm a South Shore girl at heart anyway so I pounced and told him we couldn't do it. 
St. Anthony's Catholic School is at that intersection. Take a peek and look at the street names, and see if you can find any open houses on MLS for next weekend. Good luck!

North of Wolf Hill Road is South Huntington. South of Wolf Hill Road is the Melville Triangle. The Melville Triangel is the "triangle" formed by Old Country Road, Wolf Hill Road and New York Avenue. The school on the corner of Wolf Hill at it's intersection with Old Country is St. Anthony's High School. There is a church next door to it on Wolf Hill Road. I live in the neighborhood behind St. Anthony's (South Huntington), and grew up in Dix Hills, further down Wolf Hill Road, if you have any questions.

Yup! thats exactly it! So THAT is considered the Triangle Section...got ya.
This differs the The Tree Section?

Yes, the Tree Section is different. It is located on the west side of Route 110 (near Walt Whitman HS). The areas you described are east of 110.

yes this is a nice area...Triangle section of Melville. South Huntington school district. Church you mentioned is St Elizabeths and the school is St Anthony's High School.
