Question about framing
I have a 16 x 20 phot that i want to frame (with a mat). What size frame do i need?

I would bring it to a place that does framing and they will show you all your options. It really depends on how much mat you want. You can even do a double mat. HTH

I would first try to find a mattes that can fit the 16x20 image. Then, you an find a frame. You may have better luck finding mattes online.

As long as your not doing custom framing it won't be that much. All custom framing I did was under $170 anyway. I would just go to Michaels or AC Moore and see what size frames they have. Most of them tell you on the actual insert what size pic will fit in it.

this is exactly what I do, and it works out much cheaper. find the matte first
