WWD?

We have new neighbors They moved in 6 months ago, it is a one family home, but there is ay least 5 adults and 6 kids living there now. With that comes the carS and truckS. There is a total of 5 cars. They have room for 5 without taking up any additional spaces. So WHY is it that i ALWAYS have at least TWO of their trucks in front of my home??? and the front of their home is EMPTY.

We do not have a garage, only a driveway with a huge tree covering it, that due to the storms have been falling apart and we are scared to park there now. So we are forced to park AROUND the corner from our home (we have a corner lot)

I come home SEETHING when i see their driveway clear and the front of my house looks like grand central. So what would you do. My idea is to knock on their door. DH disagrees with this approach and says he doesnt trust me to be nice He wants to just keep parking in front of their house tll they get the message. We have tried this for 2 days, still nothing. Would you write a note and leave it on their car? Confront them NICELY? If there is such a way?

For my own sanity, this can not go on any longer. Something has to be done. HELP

We have the same issue, but I don't think there's much you can without causing some kind of trouble between neighbors. It's the street, anyone can park there. But I HATE it

While they can really park anywhere they like it would bother me because they don't park infront of their own house. I woudl continue to park in front of their house. it will proabaly take more than a few days for them to get the picture.

If it doesn"t change in a week or two then I would either leave a note or go over there.

I will never understand why someone would park in front of someone else's home when they have space in front of their own house.

I would continue to park in front of their house.
Only because it's closer than around the corner.

Right now there are no cars in their 2 car driveway, no cars in front of their home,(room for 2 cars) BUT there is ONE of their TRUCKS in front of my house, the only spot that is not under a falling tree.

I know there are bigger issues in the world but THIS IS driving me mad!!!

At my IL's house there is a bunch of cars and they have a double driveway. However depening on who is parked where is whether or not the driveway is full or empty.

For example if my MIL, FIL and BIL are in the driveway and they both go to work - my GIL car is still in the street. They aren't going outside to move it to the driveway unless they leave for the day.

I have the same problem and it drives me nuts. They don't park in front of their house, but in front of mine.

I've been contemplating saying something. But for now, whenever they do this, I park opposite -- so I'm facing into the grill of their car. And, I stopped talking to them.

I would definitely continue to park in front of their house. It'll take some time probably.

My parents had this problem. At one point, we have five cars at my house and a two car driveway. We are a corner house, so there are technically extra spots on the street and we needed all of them. My neighbor's tenant would park in front of our house ALL the time. It drove my parents insane. They went over and asked them not to park in front of our house anymore (granted they are friendly with the neighbor). It has not been a problem since.

i would politely go over and ask them not to park in front of your house. You can use your tree/driveway issue as a reason for it.. say you don't feel safe parking under the tree and until that's fixed, the only place you can park is in front of your house so if they wouldn't mind leaving it clear

maybe they don't realize and/or just don't care
but you'll never get them to change their habits unless you directly tell them

Seriosusly continue parking in front of their house. If there is room for two cars, park in the middle leaving little to no room for a seond car.

if not, I don't think there is anything you can do

I wouldn't confront them. if they get mad they may do bad things to your home or cars. some people are nuts, and IMO its not worth it, for some street parking
