Kitchen Cabinets:
Has anyone had their kitchens renovated by someone who makes their cabinets -- like a woodworker or a millworker?
My parents are completely redoing their kitchen... they do not want to use a place like Home Depot or Consumers because they want a custom job with cabinets that are made by hand. Also, because of what they want done it needs to be custom work. It's hard to find woodworkers though - it's usually by recommendation, so that is why I'm asking.
We got a quote from one guy so we wanted a few to compare and we would love someone that comes recommended since I found the first guy. Thank you!!

Thanks everyone... my mom spoke with the guy from Dynamic and he was very nice, helpful, and informative. I just made a post asking for feedback specifically on him/his work.
Let me know about how you made out with him... He sounds great and his prices sound amazing!! So, hoping it is all not 'too good to be true'.

we used a kitchen designer that works directly with a custom cabinet place in PA - beautiful custom cabinets - we just had ours done and she did my mom's kitchen 10 years ago and they still look great - she also does the plumbing layouts, electrical - lighting - and stone - cabinets, back splash and flooring, and hardware for cabinets

Hello,
I am an interior designer and I also just had my kitchen renovated. I loved the company I used to make my cabinets. They are on Long Island and make them to order. The quality is fabulous and the price was decent. FM me if you would like the name of the company and contact info.
