Re: Need help finding a hall for christening in Nassau
Funny, I am trying to find a hall for November 14th around the same location, just not as many people. Thanks for posting!

HR Singletons in Bethpage is awesome. I'm pretty sure their room could fit the number you need. You can call Guy Anthonys in Merrick. I'm not sure how many people their private party rooms hold.
There's a firehouse in Bellmore on Newbridge Rd that has a room. The hall portion of it is called the Vamps Club. If you don't want dancing then you could fit all those people. If you want a dance floor then it wouldn't work. We had my son's christening there and we had about 110 people. With that we had a small amount of dance space. But the room is nice and the price is great.

how about any catering hall? im partial to westbury manor Call anyway. they have availabilities even for their restaurant as well.
We've used for the kids' parties: Bethpage State Park (Carlyle on the Green)-superb food and exquisite service.
Westbury Manor - people raved about that party. very well attended and appointed.
Milleridge Inn - I personally was not impressed as the hostess, but the guests loved it.
Coral House: It was a pretty decent location for a last-minute booking.

We are trying to keep it in the area of Bellmore, Merrick, Wantagh, Seaford, Massapequa Did you call the Riviera in Massapequa? They do not book a lot of fall weddings, so they may be available.
The Seaford KoC is called Memorare, and it books all year long pretty steadily.

Singletons is out. Family issue.
Vamps club is out. They are booked for that day. They were one of my first choices since they are right around the corner from my house.

I just sent an email to both places. Thank you!

Definately try The North Ritz Club. That is where we are having DD christening. We also got married there we love it. Ask for Nadine she is great to work with. IF you need anything else let me know.

I'm still trying to find a place that won't cost a small fortune. So please, if you have anymore suggestions, I would love to hear them too.

Have you tried the George Washington manor in Roslyn?
They have a great big room for that many people with access to the gardens.

I am not sure how many guests you have, but you can try Palmer's in Farmingdale. I did not suggest it for the OP b/c with their guest list it would be way too tight.
We had DS1's blessing there, and it was really nice. We paid $29 per person, and ran a tab for the bar rather than have an open bar (it cost about $250 for 70 people to drink). Only suggestion I would make is have dessert/cake brought in ;)

I had mine at Hemingway's and paid $29.95pp. I had 55 people but it could have easily held another 20. The food was and service was incredible, and we ran a bar tab for liquor. That price also included cake (but I got mine from Dortoni's and they gave me apps instead).

I dont know how many people you are looking to have but the east meadow firemans benevolent assoication has a hall in east meadow and they have a huge yard. the hall itself was 700 i think an extra 100 for unlimited beer. you have to bring in your own catering. if you want a dj they offer one for 325. I had my DS' first birthday there and everyone loved it.
