Recommend a good 1st baby doll
I am thinking about Christmas presents already
DD will be 18 months in December and I think she would like a baby doll.
What are some nice "1st dolls" for that age?

I bought my 19 month old DD a baby doll from Target... not sure if it was their store brand or not, but I know it said "Cuddle and Coo" on the box. She loves it soooo much, she carries it everywhere with her. It has a little pacifier on a ribbon, and it comes with a bottle. If you turn it on the arms and legs move and it giggles/coos, and then when you feed it the bottle it makes a sucking sound. Very cute!

Costco usually gets a Fisher Price set around the holidays. It comes with a baby and stroller (and I want to say something else, but I cant' remember what!).
We got it for DD when she was almost 2 and it was great. DD#2 who is 19 months now has been playing with it for a while now.
The price isn't bad either for what you get.

These three have been the biggest hits with DD#1 and now with DD#2 who is 16 months.
I got this one for DD#1 when she was 18 months - from FAO Schwartz - it was about $24.

We have several Little Mommy dolls and accessories - the girls LOVE/LOVED the stroller, bassinet, back pack etc. So you could try a doll and some things to go with it. Some are sold with dolls some are sold separately.
Corolle is another good brand.
