Sorta spinoff from MrsFlatbread's Chase post
I have an appt to meet with the loan officer at Chase. After reading about MrsFlatbread's experience and hearing a couple of other peoples poor experiences I'm thinking I may want to contact a mortgage broker after I meet with Chase.
Anyone have an excellent recommendation? Am I better off just going to another bank instead of a mortgage broker? TIA!

Try Ralph (I forgot his last name) at United Northern in Smithtown.
We went through him/them for our mortgage, is was fabulous and the easiest experience EVER.
