Opinion on Paint Color Choice

I am leaning towards having living room, dining room, 1st floor hall, stairs & 2nd floor hall all 1 color. Is a tan an ok choice for ALL those areas or would it be overload of 1 color? I'd add color with accessories. Boring for those areas?

All those areas are connected, and I feel like it would be weird if they weren't the same color (there are other rooms that will be different).

Anyone have a tan color in their LR, DR or halls? Pics or name of paint color?

ETA: If you are familiar with BM, I was thinking something like a Monroe Bisque or Wheeling Neutral..

We have BM bleaker beige in our upstairs living room, dining room, hallway, and downstairs living room, stairway, and downstairs entrance ( high ranch)

bedrooms and bathrooms are the only place with different colors

With certain colors that might be overload but with the color you are talking about, I think it's fine. I have an open floor plan and have a goldish beige on my walls in the LR (high ceilings), DR, halls (upstairs & down) and stairway. It's fine, there is enough furniture, doorways and wall decor that it breaks it up.

We did BM twilight gold in our living and attached is our dining room in a L shape. We used BM Hillsquire Buff. They are both on the same paint chip card just a shade lighter. I also worked in Palladian Blue

my original plan was to do a tan/neutral color throughout the whole house (living room, dining room/kitchen and the hallway) but I thought it might be a little bland so I did my kitchen / dining room combo in a deep wine color. I'm really glad I did because I love the contrast of it next to the tan. My living room is bradstreet beige and my hallway is brookline beige but unless you're looking really closely they look like the same color. I'll see if i have any pictures
