NM Started a new thread
No one really liked the rug (PB Franklin) with this chair. Can someone help me find another one? I need an 8x10 and I want wool. I would love it if it had red, yellow and green in it. TIA

no i think it's fine! my mom had a rug like that in her living room and had a leopard print chair in it and you didn't even notice...

I really like the rug, but not together with the chair fabric.. if you are having trouble finding a rug to match, you could recover the chair padding with a solid fabric that matches

i'm not sure....at first i say no, but im magazines and on TV they are always mixing patters and it looks great...
can you get the rug and return it if it's not good?
i am eyeing a PB rug but i need it in a 9x12 so i was thinking of buying on Ebay to save $$ but i'm nervous b/c than i can't return it if it doesn't work...i've checked it out in the store and i love it but it's not always the same once you bring it home...

you can mix and match patterns (i have a rug with a similar pattern, then a black and white zebra chair on it - they don't clash at all)
However, the colors have to at least compliment each other and i don't see the pattern of the fabric on the chair going with the colors in the rug. The chair looks almost pinky or blue, neither of which would go with that rug.
Maybe the colors in the chair picture are off.. but that's what it looks like to me
eta: i LOVE the rug and have looked at that one myself. I think with bold colors like that, you need a chair that has a bold pattern in complimentary or contrasting colors to be able to work with it

The swatch is really off. The colors in the chair are a lot deeper. The chair colors are green, red and beige with a yellow stripe. All of the colors in the rug. The shades might be off a tone or two but, that can always happen with dyelot too.

I know some ebay sellers accept returns but, the return shipping costs would be $$$$. Which style rug do you like?
