Check Consumer Kitchens. They are having huge sales on Kraftmaid Cabinets.
giving you 50% off the glaze and a bunch of free upgrades.
We just booked our Kraftmaid Cabinets there. So excited!!!

go witht he kraft maid. you said you like them more and I agree.
Do the install yourself if you can and Shop around!! you can get a better price for those
Also check out lakeville industries. they have a website but they are located in lindenhurst and smithtown. they have AMAZING prices on cabinets and they are really good quality. that's where designers go, but they sell to consumers for the same prices

I would go with the Kraftmaid - you have seen my kitchen right? That is what we have and I love them. Our cabinets are not new- but I think they look pretty good.
We got a pantry cabinet put in the corner by the back door when we moved in (we didn't redo the kitchen) definitely price the cabinets around - for the cabinet we found that consumers was a lot more money - so make sure you get quotes from a couple of places to see who will give you the best deal if you go with that.
I would go with whatever you think will last the longest - esp if you don't know how long you will stay in your home. So I say as far as which one to pick - go with the sturdiest one that will last the longest and look the best down the road. There is nothing like picking something that looks nice - but is breaking or not holding up well in a few years.

Go Look at Family Kitchens in Bethpage and ask for Mike. We went there and he was really helpful. Just stay away from Below Wholesale Cabinets
And John looses yet ANOTHER sale.....
I put in a call to my attorney to see if he'd make a phone call for you. I havent heard back from him yet....
