Shark Steam Mop
Anyone have this? Is it worth the money?
i've got hardwood floors and an 8 month old. I was thinking this would be better than regular old mop and chemicals.

Honestly I bought it used it once and dont like it. I went and bought the Hoover wet vac and I love it! I would recommend that over the shark.

I have it and hardwood floors. I like it alot. I feel like the floors get so much cleaner and aren't streaky or sticky.

I have it and love it for that reason, bc when dd started crawling I hated using chemicals...love it use it all the time now on wood and tile

I borrowed my sister's and I hated it. It left streaks on my hardwood floors.
I went back to using the wet swiffer and am much happier with the results.
My MIL uses warm water and a dab of baby shampoo to mop her hardwood floors - as recommended by the company who installed her floors.

i have it... i dont love it or hate it... i do like that it is chem free.
at our old house we had a LOT of tile which i would use just a mop and some bleach with hot water... but now that we have all hardwood, no more bleach so steam it is.

i have and mostly hardwood floors.
I think it's ok...i don't love it by any means. the cord isn't long enough for my house and it runs out of water quickly.
i've also been reading not to use it too often on the harwood, b/c over time the wood will warp. True or not, i don't really know.

Just got one in April and so far I love it.
I hardly get to use it since now that it's so easy DH actually VOLUNTEERS to mop.  I know!!!
ETA: Never heard anything about it warping your hardwood floors. DH installs/repairs wood floors and he's never heard anything like that either.

i have it and i dont like it... maybe its the type of tiles i have down but i feel like it does nothing... i rarely used it and it actually konked out on my once... no steam whatsoever... did some research and it seems like not using distilled water can cause some deposits to form inside the mop... i had to use clr to clean it out.... PITA for something that i feel does nothing for my floors

I was going to get it and borrowed my moms for a week to test it out. It MESSED UP my hardwood floors. For a week after I stopped using it, every time one of the kids dropped something on the floor it left a huge dent. My floors are now pockmarked from the stupid thing.
