so frustrated with dishwasher
Our dishwasher is just over a year old. It's a Bosch, which is supposed to be a good brand. We did all the research and it was well rated. I feel like I never get a completely clean load! Sometimes glasses are dirtier after being washed than when I put them in ! Am I doing something wrong? What are your secrets to keeping your dishwasher going strong?!

Have you added a finishing rinse to the dishwasher?
That makes a big difference.

I used to have this problem.
1. Make sure no food is trapped somewhere in the dishwasher.
2. I was using a "cheaper" detergent and nothing ever came out clean. Since I switched to Cascade Complete, everything is always clean. (As the PP said, this has a finishing rinse and really makes a difference)

I would try cleaning the drain ! This happened to me and once I cleaned the drain, it was as good as new.

Do you live OOS? because some states have banned phosphates from dishwasher soap. I live in VA were it is banned, and I feel my dishes never get cleaned.

ditto! it sucks to stick your hand in there, but it might be an easy (and cheap) solution.
