Reliable Movers Needed!
Hubby and I are moving in October from an apartment in Queens (Nassau border) to Lynbrook (Nassau County) and we're in need of reliable, good, and not so expensive movers.
We're only having them move our furniture and just want to make sure they are a legit company that is insured and also in case they damage our stuff that we get compensated in some way.
I've called a few that family have recommended but haven't been happy with their quotes as it's a small moving job.
If anyone has anything the can recommend (or who to avoid!!) DH and I would be greatly appreciative!

Welcome to the neighborhood - we're in Lynbrook, also having come from Queens  It's wonderful, you'll love it!
We used Ken's Moving and Storage. You have to pay an extra hour for them to cross the border to Nassau but I think that's pretty standard. I've used them three times and have at least four friends that used them as well - always excellent reviews.
