Re: october/november/december mommys
yea maybe a couple since it will be the baby's first christmas but I am guessing that since this is the first grandchild on my side and the first in 12 years on dh's side that our families will probably go nuts
a good one to get is baby's first christmas ornament

I'm due Dec. 29, so I'll probably just have a cute outfit on hand, incase the LO makes an early arrival. Who knows, I could spend the day in L&D!

Re: october/november/december mommys
Our baby girl IS the present, lol. DD is due right before Chanukah, and she's the first grandchild and niece on both sides of the family. Maybe we'll pick up something small for a photo op.

Re: october/november/december mommys
That's a good question! I hadn't even thought of it.
I guess maybe two or three things. My oldest DD was born in September and we got her the 2005 holiday collector's edition Barbie (which was Cinderella that year) and a fairy tale book and maybe like one toy. I also bought the 2007 Barbie for my 2nd DD. (Oh, and BTW, they don't play with them--they're in the box for show right now) If this one's a girl I HAVE to buy the 2010 Barbie!! And if it's a boy, well, we have NOTHNG for boys, so I guess it's a good excuse to shop!

Re: october/november/december mommys
If I have a girl Im sure I will go a little overboard with clothes because we all know that clothing for girls is just well you know beyond cute! Also I will get a little doll or something....But if it is a boy I will keep it low key!

Re: october/november/december mommys
I'll get a few things. No big purchases, unless I don't get something from my registry that the baby needs. Maybe an outfit and a toy. Heck I could wrap diapers to just look like the baby got lots of gifts.
Eta.: I will definitely do a stocking. I'm obsessed with Christmas stockings.
