Anyone use/been to KiddSmiles in Deer Park? ( Dentist)

For their kids dentist ?
On their website it says parents shouldnt go in with their children. Well my son would have a full out nervous breakdown if I didnt go with him..and I'm afraid they will pressure/push him?


Any info? Do you like or not?

We go to Kiddsmiles and that's so odd that that info is on their website. We've always gone in with Matteo. Maybe they mean for older kids. At first, I would sit in the chair with him but now that he's comfortable with them, he sits by himself.

DD goes to kiddsmiles in Manhassett and since she started going there I have ALWAYS had the option of going in with her. They have never told me no, or given me any "lip" for doing so.

Even when DD sees the ortho (in the Manhassett office) and it's just for a quick check up and color change of her bands I go in with her, only because DD wants me to though.

If DD didn't, I probably wouldn't but that's besides the point.

ETA - I know it's the other office, but I love Kidd Smiles in Manhassett FWIW

I've been with my kids, and they asked me to come in with them. I wasn't expecting to since I had read that on their website as well.

I sat with them in the chair while they had their cleanings.
