Mom's of potty trained girls...a question

So DD has been potty trained for about 7 weeks now. Within the past week her pee shoots out and goes all over the toilet ring insert, the toilet seat then sometimes on her clothes. If I take out the insert and help it sometimes still gets a little on the toilet seat.
It happens the most when she her urine in for a long time, so in the morning and then sometimes through out the day.

Is this normal?

haha I guess so bc that was happening to DD a few weeks ago to and I was so confused. I just had her sit a little further back for a couple of days and now it has not happened in a little while.

DD's goes all over the place. especially since she likes to lean back on the potty.

she sits on the regular potty, and it stays in, mostly.

My girls use to do this. I told them to lean forward when they pee and it stopped it from happening.

Have her lean forward and it should flow more downward. Since she holds it in, it is coming out forcefully and since she is too young to have hair on her private parts, are the reasons why the pee is getting everywhere. GL!

Thanks everyone...DH wanted me to call the ped because he thought something was wrong with her.

So DD came up with her own solution (I love her!) she decided to stop using the potty ring all the together and hold herself up. So now she sits further back.
