Update on my furniture issue
Turns out when I called JCPenny to complain I happened to get someone who was having a bad day.... my mom called back and spoke to a very nice woman who told her to go back to the store with pictures of the damaged furniture and speak with someone there. My mom went and they credited her $150 for the damage to the crib (which is very minimal) so thats awesome.. and they are ordering me a new dresser 
We have to pick up the dresser & drop the damaged one off, they wouldn't send anyone for it.. but im OK with that now.
