Was your CIO last night a success?

Mine wasn't. DH went in and brought her in our bed about 3. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

What part of "don't bring her in the bed" don't you understand?

Re: Was your CIO last night a success?

No - DS woke up around 2 and was up from 2-3. The past couple of nights, he's cried out but, went back down within 10 minutes.

I worked late yesterday so I didn't see him at all and I think it threw him off - he kept on staring at me when I went in. He'd put his head down when I patted his back and then he'd just raise up his head and look at me.

OH... sorry to hear that.

The other night Mason got up at 1AM and I heard him crying and then wimpering. I was watching him in the monitor and he was getting up then would lay back down and wimper. I was hoping DH wouldn't get up b/c his first instinct is to run in and get him, but he slept through it and DS went back to sleep. Yay!
He doesn't get up in the middle of the night too much, but he did a lot at 10 months when his top teeth were coming in. Those few weeks were a nightmare Chat Icon

Re: Was your CIO last night a success?

I think last night was a relative success. He finally fell asleep at 8:19PM. DS did wake up at 4:16AM and after crying for 2 minutes, I went in and gave him a paci. I rubbed his head and chest and told him I loved him but that it was night night time. He cried when I left the room but amazingly, he only cried for less than 1 minute and then fell asleep in the corner at the bottom of the crib. We had to wake him up this morning at 7:20. Honestly, I don’t think I could have cio in the middle of the night though, I was ready to pick him up and rock him to sleep. Hope tonight is better.
