Carpet or Hardwood Floors

So we currently have hardwood floors in my living room and hallway - i am now thinking we need to get carpet - i dont know why - but i do.. LOL....

Should i cover my hardwood with wall to wall carpeting?? I currently have an area rug - she just doesnt seem to have enough play area on the rug

DD is 15 months old

Re: Carpet or Hardwood Floors

I say keep the hardwood with an area rug.

We have hardwood with area rugs in our living room and dining room. We got wall to wall carpet in the bedrooms because I just carpet in those rooms.

We went to a carpet remnent store and got a regular plush carpet that takes up the entire room so DD can play on it and it is removable if we still want the wood floors. Everyone said area rug is fine but ours was too thin and I felt like she was going to get hurt on it.

We've never had carpet anywhere since DS was born, in our apt or in our house now. DS has never had an issue.
