DH owned his own landscaping business for a few years before selling it. He refuses to do any landscaping so the guy he sold his business to does it for us

even if i had the money to do so i wouldn't hire a landscaper to do weekly maintenance its the only thing my husband does in our house and if he didn't do that i think i would kill him.

No but DH and I disagree on this. He is DYING to do it himself but I know the novelty of coming home from work and trying to play with the kids and do other things around the house will get old REAL quick. Plus we have a million other things that need to be done around here. We dont own a mower or anything so I dont want to buy stuff and have him change his mind!

We didn't have one for a long time because DH was adamant about doing it himself. It ended up being a huge chore (and our yard wasn't even big) and our grass looked pretty crappy. We got a landscaper last year and it was so worth the money! Our grass looked great after that.

We do it ourselves. DH mows the lawn & I clean up. Sometimes my mom mows the lawn. But they both love it. And we get it done quicker when the three of us do it.

Yes, always. We have over an acre on this property and for the past 3 years have done our rental and our IL's house. Total of 3.5acres each week (March-November-we live in GA). Just 3 weeks ago we hired a landscaper to do our rental and IL's. As of next month I will take over the yards again since the kids will be back in school. We enjoy it.
