Checking out a pre-school tomorrow

It's going to be so weird to do this tomorrow Chat Icon

Any pointers? Anything specific I should ask?

I am pretty laid back, but I would like to be prepared.

Thanks!

p.s. if you send your child 2 or 3 days a week, can you FM me what you pay. I have no idea what a good rate is.

I have only checked one out and it is a Co-op nursery school, meaning I will have to help once a month or so. For 3 half days a week its $160 a month.

Re: Checking out a pre-school tomorrow

Landon's 2 year old program is $145 for 2 days a week, $170 for 3 days a week, and $195 for 5 days a week. The time is 2.5 hours each day. The 3&4 year old programs are more money.
Some questions:
-policy on potty training, if they will change your child or call you in case of accident
-teacher to student ratio
-what is a typical day like
-procedure in case of illness or medical emergency
-outdoor play and field trips
-curriculum (for the older kids)... i know the 2 year olds are pretty much there to socialize. They do letters numbers and colors which DS already knows.
