Check out my storm pics!
I rarely get to go chase storms anymore. In fact, DH put his foot down once I got PG a few years ago to never chase again. 
Thankfully, this storm came to me. DS kept asking "Is this the red I saw on the radar? Why don't I see red?" Guess he thought the rain would be red. 
I swear that Heaven opened up on this strike.

We were on our way to visit my Dad in Northport around 7pm, up on the bluff over looking the harbor & sound the sky was amazing!

I was out there with my son.
As soon as my kids heard the thunder ,they were hiding my eldest likes to peak out the window every once in awhile to see lightning ,but runs away after seeing it
Your son obviously loves it
