Drinking towards the end of 2WW
So this Saturday we have a event that will involve drinking...we have both been looking forward to it for a couple of months (we do not get out much these days) AF is due on Monday...I am not sure what to do about Sat. I am not planning on getting wasted but would like to have a couple throughout the day...but i can't help to feel weird about it. Of course i feel symptoms but I did last month and got a BFN followed by AF.
DH says to just go an enjoy myself since we won't know for sure until Monday.
What do you all think? (Sorry if this has been posted before)

I drank at the end of the 2ww and didnt know I was pg. My baby seems to be perfectly fine.

Go enjoy yourself! If you are PG, it will not affect the fetus. The fetus does not share your blood until you are 6-7 weeks PG. (This is what I read somewhere)

I wound up going out to dinner with DH the night before my BFP. Had quite a few glasses of sangria not thinking I could pg. My DC#1 is perfectly healthy. Nothing to worry about! You don't share a blood supply with the baby for the first few weeks anyway.
Have a good time and have a drink for me!

next week is my first 2WW and I have a work event thats been planned and i didnt want to be suspicious not having any drinks (bc that is soooo not me! lol)

I would drink but maybe not due shots or anything! Too many times when I didnt drink and I wasnt even PG, kind of gets annoying after a while. When I was PG earlier this year I told the dr I had a few drinks before I knew and he said it was no big deal.

I drank a glass of wine one three separate days in the 2ww because I really didn't think I was pregnant. I would just make sure you eat enough and not get drunk. You just want to keep your body functioning as normally as possible right now.
