Diaper issue.. help
up until last week DS as been wearing NB diapers. We have been using pampers. We had no problem. Last week DS started leaking so I bought a package of huggies little snugglers newborn thinking this was maybe a dry max issue. DS continued to leak after a 2 hr nap
I always change him before his feeding.
So then after going through those i thought maybe the NB are too small since his belly is big the diaper sits low waisted. I have now been trying pampers swaddlers size 1. the seem to fit better going over is belly and not sitting so low, but he is still leaking.
i dont know what to do. im changing his clothes after 2 hr naps now bc he is soaked up his side. yesterday we went through 4 outfits and pjs from leaking. Last night he slept 4 hours and it was worse.
suggestions?
DS is 6 weeks old

I always always size up with DS. I always always make sure peepee is down. I always pull the diaper high above his belly button, yes they are that over sized.
I go up 1 size from the recommendation for day, and sometimes go up 2 sizes for night, depends on what size he is at.

Make sure his penis is down, and go up a size.

Make sure his penis is pointed down - if that doesn't work, try going up a size. Some babies just pee more than others

sounds obvious but is his peesh  facing down?
also, once the diaper is on, there is an inner elastic band around his legs ... i always stick my finger in and move it more towards his leg - making more room for absorption 
how much does he weigh now? Jack is still in size one but were are getting close to going into size 2. He isnt leaking at all but that are getting shorter on him and tighter around his belly (he is around 13 lbs)
