Acupuncture to induce labor?
Has anyone heard of this, or know anyone who has done it? Someone at my yoga class mentioned it this week, and if my due date comes and goes with no  I think am at the point where I might be willing to give it a try. Just wondering if anyone else had heard anything about it...

My friend just did this for the birth of her daughter last week. Said it was awesome and would do it again.

Thanks Rachel!! Yeah, hopefully sooner rather than later...but this kid seems to be camped out pretty comfortably!!

I know of one person who did it and was in labor less than 24 hours later.
It's starting to appeal to me!

I went to acupuncture to induce my labor and my water broke on the table! I had 3 contractions while driving home and had my DS 15 hours later.
Just FYI......It produces REALLY strong contractions spaced close together. Within 2.5 hours after acupuncture my contractions were 2 to 3 minutes apart and lasting for 70-80 seconds!!!
