Someone asked me when I was due today!
All I could do was laugh. She asked me right after I told her that Alexandra was 2 months old. I said, I just had a baby, I'm not pregnant. And then she told me I must be keeping a lot of weight on.  She's an old lady with Parkinson's at my grandmother's assisted living place.
Little does she know that I am 25 lbs LESS than my pre-pregnancy weight.

Well, the fact that she's in a nursing home gives her a free pass...otherwise I would have been appalled. Maybe she's lost her couth in her old age!

Oy vey! People are SO STUPID!
DD was born with a foot abnormality and has to undergo casting and wear special shoes - I CAN NOT begin to tell you how many STUPID STUPID comment/questions I have gotten.
At least you can chock it up to her old age...

DD is 17 months old and I got asked if I was pg on Saturday, and I wasn't in an assisted living place

I love spicey old people!
Yesterday one of my patients told me i was fat (he felt like he had free reign since he's a fatty, himself lol). I told him i was preggo, he said "that doesn't mean you're not fat". I told his wife where he hides his snickers bars.

people can be so dumb sometimes.....
Dont feel bad...I am 28 weeks pregnant and get asked how many babies are in my belly at least once a day!!!! (only one in there)

I agree-the ONLY reason I would have taken pity on her for that comment is because she is in a nursing home.
On a side note, I looked several months pregnant when I was 2-3 months PP with DS. Took another month or so for the phantom "baby belly" to settle down. Very frustrating, but also normal.

so rude .. but gets a pass for being an old lady. DH's grandmother used to say the meanest things to everyone and get away with it all the time. Gitta shrug it off sometimes

Haha that's too funny- just this past Sunday, someone at the church where I sing asked me if I was expecting again (my son is 5 months old). When I said no, he got all tripped up and was like "Oh uhh well you know, you are married and all..." I flt so bad because I felt like he felt so bad and I totally was not bothered by it at all (I'm actually 15 lbs. less than my pre-pregnancy weight), so I just laughed and was like "it's fine, don't worry about it!." Lol I found it really funny.

Oh this happened to me when I was around 3 months PP and I was thinking I looked fine at that time I went to the pizzeria where I get lunch at work and one of the guys asked when I was due-I looked around to see the pregnant woman(didn't see one) and said "who me? I already had the baby." I have myself convinced it was the style of my coat plus the fact that I had my wallet in one of the pockets bumping it out.
