I had my baby boy last week with PICS and quick story
Hi Ladies! I just wanted to hop on real quick to announce the birth of my beautiful baby boy Noah Michael! He was born on 6/9/10 at 12:11pm via C-section, weighing 9lbs 3oz and 22 inches long! All the Dr's an nurses were amazed at his size since DH and I are pretty small! He is such a good boy and we love him SO much!
It was a long and stressful delivery, I started to go into labor Sunday night however did not go into the hospital until Wednesday at midnight. I pretty much had consistent contractions all day Tuesday and finally DH begged me to call the Dr. b/c I was screaming and crying in pain, lol! I was offered an epidural as soon as I got to the hospital but I tried to go without it for as long as I could. Finally at 3am I gave in...I couldnt bear it anymore and figured I already endured almost 3 days of labor, I didn't need to be a "hero".
Let me tell you...the epidural was HEAVEN! A few minutes after getting it the nurse asked me if I felt any contractions and I said no...then she told me I had just had one...all I could do was laugh b/c I couldnt feel it at all!
Anyway...to make a long story short...I ended up needing a C-section for several reasons....1- the baby wasn't descending, he was turned sideways. 2- the baby's HR dropped a few times, it was very very scary. The Dr. had wanted to try pitocin to further dilate me but b.c of his HR dropping they couldnt risk it. and 3- My epidural wore off so they had to give me a spinal which I had a bad reaction to...Once they told me I was having a Csection Noah was born within 15 minutes!
Between the long labor and Csection, recovery has been pretty rough. I was in the hospital till Sunday and even now at home I am still having pain. It does get better everyday, and having such a good baby and amazing husband really helps.

That is a pretty big baby for your size, but he is precious. again congratulations to you both.

CONGRATS!
I was looking for you on here...once you disappeared I figured you were in having your beautiful baby. WOW on his size....that is so great though. Glad all is ok and a quick recovery to you!
He is just gorgeous...many congrats to you and your DH!
