*PICS NOW WORKING* Help with colors for redecorating our master bedroom
PLEASE DON'T QUOTE
These are pics of the master bedroom and bathroom when we moved in...and we haven't changed the colors
Our bed has a dark wood frame...the dresser that is there is gone, but the window seat/storage and bookshelves are still there...can we stain them to match the bed frame color wood?
I'm thinking of serene colors, like ocean like, like shades of ocean blue and then dark brown/chocolate accents...
We would re-do the floor too...carpet again? Hardwood? The rest of the house is hardwood but I'm sick of the dogs scratching the floors...maybe bamboo? Or that doesn't go?
I'd like the same color scheme/theme to go into the master bath
Any advice is appreciated, tia! Image Attachment(s):

what a great bedroom. love the bookcases and window seats. I would def. restain to match the bed. I love hardwoods, so I would say hardwoods, but carpet is always very nice.
I love blues and browns together. Check out my Master bedroom pics album.

The built ins are great! I would actually paint them white - it will still match your furniture. If you stain them dark to match it may close in the room. I would also consider re-covering the fireplace- maybe with a glass tile or a stone. A nice light blue on the walls would look great.
I used BM Gray Wisp in my MBR. It's very similar to Restoration Hardware's Silver Sage.
I would do hardwood floors with area rug(s)

I would stain the wood a lil darker more like the dresser...have you ever thought about retiling your fireplace? maybe slate?

for paint colors benjamin moore : "opaline" is nice or "valley forge brown", "narragansett green", "knoxville gray"
AND if you did retile using a slate type material...you'd have the grey tones that could lead into the master bath to match that tub

Re: *PICS NOW WORKING* Help with colors for redecorating our master bedroom
Any ideas on what to do above the fireplace if we wanted to get RID of the tv? It would look weird with no TV there, but I'm contemplating getting rid of the TV in our bedroom...It would be nice to have shelves or a display type thing but I'm not sure what to do...
TIA!
