what sandbox do you recommend?
i need it to have a cover that works at keeping water out!
does anyone have the crabbie, turtle or any other sandbox they recommend or NOT recommend? i want to get DS one for his birthday.
(if anyone is selling one, let me know!)

I have this table. It's not a sand box, but I like it because the cover works great. We have squirrels that use it as a dinner table and they pee on it.  I spray it with the hose every time before I use it and water never gets in.
I put water in the water side, but decided to just keep it sand once it dried out. It just got very messy and wet. DD loves it.

does it get water and bugs in it? i read a lot of reviews that weren't so great but that's the one i'm leaning toward. i definitely want a box, not a sand table

I have the Step2 Naturally Playful Sandbox with a lid. It fits at least 2-3 kids in it.
It does not get water in it, but I do see ants in it from time to time - I don't think there is any way to stop little bugs from getting in it.

No problems here just some small debris but no bugs and no water
