I guess love really can hurt..poor little guy. I would be afraid of walmart AND girls after that. I hope he's okay...and doesn't flinch when someone tries to hug him...seriously!

How scary
Ryan did something similar at Colin's baptism last week. He was super hugging a cousin and fell backwards hitting his head on a chair. He had a huge lump and couldn't catch his breath for 20-minutes. I think I would have passed out if he went unconscious

Awww!! Sorry for what you all went through.
Did he have an X-ray/MRI taken of his head? If not, I would suggest maybe having one done. My 2 year old cousin fell off the couch and hit his head. Didn't even cry. Next day he said his head had a boo boo. Ped sent him for an MRI, he had a small bleed. I am sorry if this scared you and I hesitated even writing this...but I feel it's important information.

Kelly, I would agree with this. I know you've been through a lot, but I would at least ask your pediatrician if they think it is necessary. I am so sorry that happened.

I am so sorry this happened to your DS, and glad he seems to be okay.
This is exactly why I'm trying to teach DS to hug gently--he's knocked over kids a couple times when he got overly zealous, but luckily, neither was hurt.
