Did anyone have an early terrible two-er
I swear DD is 17 mos and she's experience the terrible twos early!!! She throws insane tantrums when she doesn't get something she wants and can turn from a sweet kissy toddler to the the demon child I know it has a lot to do with her not being fully verbal and not being able to express herself, but I swear I'm getting scared of her

Hate to break the news, but 2 year olds are NOTHING compared to 3 year olds 
I got through the "terrible 2's" with DS # 1 unscathed, then he turned 3 and he was jekyll and hyde. Same thing with # 2.
hang in there.... 4 year olds are AWESOME!!!

I think its because once they hit 3, they realize how their words can get things done KWIM? They can get "attitudey", and can say NO and mean it, and they "get" a lot more. 2 year olds are mostly conversational, but not fully understanding, which is why when they say something "off", we laugh at them. 3 year olds understand a LOT more.
By 4, the charm comes back

AWWW thanks..the problem is she already has attitude at 17 months believe it or not...I've gone out with friends and they crack up at her tude...which albeit is cute for the few minutes she spends with them, but not with me ALLLL DAY

My older one, who is now almost 27mos entered the terrible 2s the day after his first birthday. Unfortunately he is quite advanced in the "troublemaker" area of development.

My DS is almost 14 months old and he is a terror. This morning he took both mine and DH's blackberry's and chucked them in the toilet bowl.
It is very frustrating and I don't know how to handle/control his behavior.

Yes. My DD will be 18 months in a few days and she is fresh. She throws tantrums, throws herself on the floor facedown crying. She yells and screams if she doesn't get her way and the minute you give in she is all smiles. If this is any indication of the future I am in trouble. My son was easy as pie compared to her.

I've honestly heard that it's worse with girls...or at least the mom's that I've spoken to that have had both said their girls were harder DD likes to hit and stomp her feet on the ground..it's a sight to be seen

sometimes i like to be mean and i laugh in her face because sometimes these tantrums are so dramatic...then sometimes i want to cry because they are so drawn out, frequent and im scared its a glimpse of the future

DD never really went through the terrible 2's, but 3's 
DS started at around 18 months and is a few weeks shy of 2 and he is a MONSTER. Most days I wonder how I get through the day with a 2 year old boy and 3 year old girl.
