I'm due 9/20, but will probably have a scheduled c-section a week before depending on the baby's size. I'm still debating on finding out what we're having, but I'm now leaning more towards finding out. I really don't have the patience! Chat Icon

Re: September mothers to be

my May appt will give me the option to find out. I am hoping that when the tech does the level 2 sonogram that the baby isn't "spread wide open" showing me their stuffChat Icon . I say this cause my last one the baby actually almost turned to the "camera"

I'm due 9/25 and feeling great too. Its funny becasue right now I just can't picture being sweltering in the summer heat - I've spent the first few months of pregnancy being FREEZING :)
As of now, I welcome the heat - ask me again in August and I'll be cursing it!!
the itching that I've experinced for the past month has slowed down slightly.
Really sticking the gym and walking schedule which has made me feel very energetic.
is it just me or has S E X gotten SO SO
GREAT in the 2nd trimester Chat Icon

Re: September mothers to be

Hi everyone! I am due on 9/13 and we are not finding out the sex of the baby. I too am nervous for the summer. Oh well, what can you do!
I went on Tuesday for my Triple Screen test. I got the results back from all the genetic tests I took 3 weeks ago (12 vials! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon ) and thankfully everything came back negative. I was very relieved to hear these results.
DH is out of town on a business trip so my sister came with me. So we are sittng there talking withthe doctor when he goes over to the sonogram machine. I said,
oh, I didn't think we were doing a sonogram today". He goes, "why not!". OK! I got to see my little bean again!! Chat Icon Chat Icon I love seeing the baby! The baby was laying on it's belly but we could see everything so clearly. The heart was nice and strong, saw the spine, arms and legs, brain, bladder. The baby was sucking on it's hand! It was really so cool.
Is it weird though that I haven't actually heard the heartbeat, only seen it?

I am due 9/22, I will be 16 weeks tomorrow. I feel really good. I am scheduled for the triplescreen on 4/17. At that appointment they will give me a referral to schedule my level 2, which I can't wait for to see what I am having. I have felt it was a boy from the beginning, so we will see if I am right!

We are going to Aruba in May, which I am excited for, but have no clothes to pack! I have to do some shopping!

Thanks for that!! I am actually ok with the summer time...I like that I'll have a newborn for early fall to take walks with ;)

By the way....your little boy is absolutely adorable...the ladies need to watch out when he gets older!!!

Re: September mothers to be

I'm also due on September 20th. It's still so weird saying that. I sometimes forget I'm pregnant, that is until I look down at my belly! I think it's HUGE for 4 1/2 months, but I don't care. I feel great!

I have to work 6 days a week from Memorial Day to Columbus Day. So, it's going to be a rough summer. I'm secretly hoping the Dr. puts me on "Beach Rest" come August Chat Icon We are not going to find out the baby's sex beforehand, even though it's killing me!!

I second that! I was due 9/24 and didn't start showing until June. The heat wasn't that bad until the very end, but that was because I was showing signs of pre-e...I wound up having the baby on 9/8...

Stay hydrated and remember to keep those feet up...and I personally loved going to the beach on the weekends up until my 9th month, the water was sooooo refreshing! And I took nice long walks on the boardwalk, made me feel so much better being active.
It's ALL about the old navy capris and flip-flops!

oh, and the comments about you being preggo and the heat will NOT stop...people think you are such a masochist for being heavily pregnant in the summer...I say, s u c k it!

Another Sept. 05 mommy here!

People were such jerks about the summer--I know they mean well, but come on! One guy at work said, "You picked the absolute worst time of the year; me and my wife purposely planned it so she would never be pregnant in the summer." Well, gooooood for you!

Anyway, I loved being pregnant in the summer...such cute clothes and the FLIP FLOPS!! And look at it this way...we get to work off the baby weight under the heavy clothes of fall and winter!

Best of luck to you all!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon
