My baby turned 1 this weekend! Pic Overload!
A year ago this past Sunday, I had plans. My plans were to work 2 more nights, take a week off to get things ready around the house for my new baby, and then to have my scheduled c-section on May 11th (9 days before my due date). Well, Erin had other plans for me. She decided to come on May 2nd without any warning. On May 1st, I started having mild labor pains (cramping in my back). I went to the hospital to get "checked out before work" and then my water broke.
Well, this year, she also had plans for me other than MY plans for me. I stayed up late cooking for her party. My plan was to sleep from 1:30 to 7:30 then get up, finish preparing and then have her party. HER plan was to get up at 5:15 and not go back to sleep!! I guess this is a foreshadowing to our future -- HER plans for me will always be different than MY plans for me. And I'm sure MY plans for her will always be different than HER plans for her.
In any case, I love her to death!! Here are pictures of her from Target -- they did a great job!! And some pics from her party.

Thanks everybody!
The party was at the New Village Recreation Center in Centereach. It was a big, but pretty boring room. Once we decorated it, it was cute. The only "issue" if you want to call it that, was that because it is a town facility, there was no alcohol allowed. I didn't think it was a big problem, but some others who may consider having a party there might not be happy with that rule.
