Dr. Theodora Panteloglou in Bayside. She is AMAZING!!! She is great with my son, always takes her time and answers my gazillion questions. She is flexible with vaccines if you want to be, or will follow the CDC schedule if you want to as well. All calls are forwarded to her cell phone..no answering service. So you can speak to her anytime if there's an emergency.

Nope! A lot of people in my family use them and they are convenient. I personally see NO reason to go on an interview, I don't care how they treat me when I am there for a consulation, I care how they treat me as a mother there with my newborn, KWIM?
I called and they were VERY nice, you are delivering at LIJ and they are affiliated with that hospital so if you want to use them just bring the information with you and the doctor will visit the baby in the hospital and then you have to go to the office within a week of hospital discharge.
It is clean, the doctors are nice and there is a TOTALLY separate waiting area and receptionist for sick and well children. You should give them a call, the girl was SO nice and explained everything to me.
NO WORRIES!

I agree with Tilde, Ann. I think Ped interviews are silly.
We didn't have a Ped until the day after Lucy was born because someone reminded us then that we needed one. LOL We just went with a family recommendation.

I went to Bayside Pediatrics as a kid and I liked it there. of course it's been over 18 years since I've been there but...
It's located on Bell across from Bay Terrace.

My ped.'s in Sunnyside, so that won't help. Just wanted to say I didn't interview either. I figured if I really couldn't stand the doctors, I'd find another one. But I love them.  My ob/gyn office is in Bayside, and they did recommend someone last time. I forget the name, but I could find out if you'd like.

So far they seem good, my DD is only 6 months old and we've seen all of the doctor's there.
Dr. Vaccarro was my DH's pediatrician and he really wanted to use him for our DD but he doesn't take our insurance. DH actually wanted to change our insurance to one he takes, but I wanted to keep the insurance we had.
