So Proud of my little boy
In case you don't know DS's story, we were told while I was PG that DS would be a vegetable or close to it. And before and after I delivered him, we were told that he would never walk or talk. DS will be 3 next Sat. I am happy to report words like Mama, Dada, Grandma (mee ma or umma) and more along with a whole bunch of signs. He's definitely a work in progress and we are so proud.
BUT it brought tears to my eyes to hear that his 2nd time using a Gait Trainer he was using it to walk out of the gym, down 2 hallways and into his classroom. Today I finally got to witness it and while he is not fully bearing weight, this is so HUGE for him

I am the music therapist at his school!! I got so excited when I saw these pictures! I've missed a lot being out on maternity leave!! Ahh I'm so proud of him!!!!!

As someone who knows what you go through every single day (and LOVES to hear Ethan talk in the background while we are on the phone ) - this is AMAZING!!!!! Ethan constantly defies the odds you were given on his abilities and he floors me with what he is able to achieve
The pure joy on his face speaks volumes
I am so proud of your little man (I guess I have to say BIG man now as he is about to turn 3 )
GO ETHAN!!!!!
