They'll go out w/ my parents all the time; even in the rain for a quick walk/jump in the puddles (my 2.5 year old, not the baby).

At MIL's, she's hesitant to bring them out if its cloudy, windy, foggy or below 50 degrees or so.

I try to take them to the park and/or a walk when I get home around 430 most days.

My previous sitter/day care rarely took them outside- she had a dog so they couldn't go in the backyard where he was and she had 6 of them so taking a walk was tough too. I felt horrible for my DD since its beautiful here pretty much year round. I would just take her to the park as soon as I picked her up.

This is why I am getting a house. AJ loves going outside but we really have nowhere for her to go. So she goes out into our balcony which is just concrete. Bugs me since I moved to TX to give her a better life when in NY I had a lush backyard for her to play in.

I just gotta make it to June!

For now we take her outside every weekend. She goes outside at daycare they have a nice green grassy area with swings etc and they rotate the children by age even tho they have their own individual areas to play by age.

I wish I could take her out more.

Once the weather gets nicer, we take a walk outside every night. Also, try to hit a park on the weekends. My tow LO's are in daycare. They get 'outside playtime' 2x per day.

When it's warm, we let the boys go out in the yard for 10-30 min in the evening depending on what time we get home. If we get home early (before 6:30pm) then we let them play longer.

Mine are in daycare, so they do go out during the day if the weather permits.

A couple of times a day.

During the week, they are in daycare.
DD (2.5) has an awesome playground and she goes out 2x a day, providing it's not raining. They go out year round as long as it is above freezing and not raining. On those days, the center has a large gym and they run wild in there 2x a day.

DS (4 months) is in the infant, pre walking room. They go out 2x a day as well, but it's for a "buggy ride" where they are all strapped into a buggy for a walk around the playground area.

Now that the days are longer, we will start taking out walks around the neighborhood during the week after dinner. On weekends we usually go to a park at least 1x and then we play outside the other day.

When I was working full time and DH had a fairly normal schedule, we went out for night walks a lot. I would just dress DD appropriately and DH, DD, the two dogs and I would go for a stroll around the neighborhood. We loved having that time and miss it now that the weather is super crappy and DH doesn't get home until 7:30 or 8 pm many nights.

ETA Her daycare also used to take them out on nice days.

After work now that the weather is nice sometimes we hang out in our yard and he cruises around the patio in his walker

We go for walks on the weekends and we are out and about in the stores...

I can't stay inside when it's nice out!

eta: the daycare he goes to also takes the babies outside when it's nice out, they have a few double strollers.
