Dh and I loved Pier 95 in Freeport. Their baked stuffed lobster was AWESOME!

Not sure how fancy you're looking to go, but...in my opinion, the best seafood on LI is at Bigelow's!!! It's on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre. It's this tiny little shack that only seats maybe 10-15 people at a time, but GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY, their New England Clam Chowder is to die for!!!

Honestly, now that I'm not on LI anymore, Bigelow's is ALWAYS one of my must-eat places whenever we come home to visit. Soooooo good, and they fill your plates with heaping portions so that you always have leftovers to take home.

Fancy it's definitely not, but my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Chat Icon

i second popeis!!! i also like Rachel's Waterside Grill in Freeport (Nautical Mile)

also Ayhan's Shish Kebab, although not a seafood restaurant entirely, has lots of good seafood (some of my favorites are the grilled calamari appetizer, and the salmon kebabs for dinner... SO GOOD!)

OMG DH & I LOVE bigelow's! It's very casual but they have great food!
If you want something more fancy - in Freeport - cannot remember the name of the place but it's the first restaurant on the left when you make the turn down the main strip, they have valet parking across the street.

East Rockaway - The Fishery is one of our favorites too.
Island Park - Paddy McGee's
or more casual you can get take out from Jordan's Lobster - if it's nice out you can even sit outside.
