NB Cluster Feeding and Nipple Shield Question

Now that we established DD is going through a growth spurt and she started cluster feeding, I have a question-

I use the nipple shield, mostly on the right. She is almost weaned from the left except for when I am very sore or when she is too crazy and doesn't want to work at latching.

I pump after feedings, but this will be insane. Do I have to pump after every feeding or if I keep my pumping to every 3 hours, is that enough? I try to pump in between a cluster if that makes sense.

Mich - cluster feeding is what made me stop pumping during my maternity leave!

Loey was eating every HOUR sometimes... or every 2 hours, leaving 30-60 minutes between feedings! So, I just stopped pumping for a few weeks because A) my nipples couldn't take it! and B) i was less worried about my freezer supply and more worried about making it through!
