My day 3 and day 21 showed my ovaries are "aging"...therefore im not ovulating. he got me down because he said he doesnt know if ill get preggo again:(. i knew there was something wrong after 12 months of ttc. they are starting me on clomid. i have to go back for day 3 bloodwork again today. thankfully i got my period early 2/26. so today is day 3...weird cuz brooke said ill start a new med and conceive/find out may/june. I hope so

Sorry to crash but is your doctor an RE? If not, I highly recommend you see one BEFORE starting clomid

This line doesn't sit well with me. How horrible to say that to someone. If I remember right, you are only in your late 20's? How can he say your ovaries are aging and you might not get pregnant again? What kind of testing has he done? I hope this is just a silly case of poor bedside manner. I agree with the other poster who said to seek out an RE. Sounds like a different doctors opinion wouldn't hurt.

Did he tell you your FSH level? Find out what that number is. Having an elevated FSH does not mean that you are not ovulating at all. How does he know that you are not ovulating?
I would think that he would head for injectables and skip the clomind if things were that bad. If your not seeing an RE I would adivse you see one before going forward.

I'm 25. he just told me that my ovaries are look like they are "aging". He matched up my day 3 and day 21 and said im not ovulating. I never got a positive with opks either. Today was actually day 3 of my cycle so i went in for bloodwork and they check FSH and something that started with a E. he said to start the clomid wednesday then next monday they will check those levels again. Does this sound right? He is my regular OB GYN

This is what they are doing...
Clomiphene challenge test
A clomiphene challenge test is a dynamic type of test that can discover some cases of poor ovarian reserve that are still showing a normal day 3 FSH.
This test is done by:
Obtaining a day 3 FSH and estradiol
Take 2 tablets of clomiphene (100 mg) on days 5-9 of the cycle
Repeat an FSH level on day 10 of the cycle
The normal Clomid challenge test result is a low FSH on day 3, a low estradiol on day 3 and a low FSH on day 10.

I have NO knowledge on RE things or any medications to help ttc. I would xpost this to the infertility board since there aren't too many ladies on here. There are a lot of ladies on there who may have knowledge and been through these protocols. I wish you luck!
