Not sure what is going on

Today is between 14-17 dpo (I think I am 16 but just to be safe that is the only possible range. My LP is usually 10-11 days, so either way I am late. I took a test on Saturday which would have been 11-14 dpo, and it was a BFN.

Today I still am having all the same symptoms I have been, but I have started "spotting". I say it like that because it is only when I wipe and it is funny looking. It is like, brown tinged globs of CM......is that normal?? When I spot before AF comes, it is pinkish and it comes out other than when I wipe, like I need a p[antyliner then. Doesn't brown =old blood? I am so nervous and worried that something is wrong with me, but I have convinced myself I am not preggo, so to spend money on a test just to see "not pregnant" would just upset me more...

Sorry to ramble, but does anyone have any insight as to what the heck might be going on? I have tried looking it up but nothing seems right to me....

I don't mean to upset you, but that does sometimes happen to me a day before AF. I would wait until tomorrow. If she doesn't come on full force, test again.

This was me yesterday. AF was due Thursday...tested Friday...BFN. Bought more tests yesterday...decided to pee in a cup instead of directly on the stick just in case AF started...gross, but I looked in the cup after and before I opened the test, and lo and behold there was some "stuff" that looked like it could be the start of AF. I don't usually spot before...if so maybe for an hour before full flow. This was at 11:30am yesterday (it was also brownish). I didn't get full flow until 8 last night...very weird for me. So I hate to say it, but it could just be the start of it.

If it is AF, I wish she would hurry up! She has taken her sweet time this month, so hopefully by tomorrow she will just be here already

I kind of feel different about this. Brown spotting is usually old blood. I've heard of a lot of women getting this right around their period time but no AF and it wound up that they were pregnant. I wouldn't count you out yet. Splurge for one more test! Good luck.
