Please tell me I'm doing the right thing.
I have posted numerous times how we are unhappy in the area we have purchased our home.
I gave it a year b/c I did commute last year, so I wasn't getting the full picture. Well its been almost another full year and working locally and still not loving it.
We bought the house for a deal at the time and we are probably going to list the house next week. I know I am not going to make money and will probably lose money , but for my own sanity and happiness I think its worth it.

Go with your gut! If you are unhappy in your house, moving is definitely the right thing to do!

Absolutely. If you can afford to take a loss, def go. You don't want to spend too long in a home you just dont love.

If its the neighborhood you don't like I would say go, if its the house maybe you can modify it to better suite your needs. In either case you should do what makes you happy.

you can't be wrong in this. you tried it on. you didn't like the fit. time to find something that you are comfortable in
I honestly cannot say how I would feel living up there full time...but since I don't yet, maybe that is my answer.
where do you think you guys will go from here?

Thanks everyone, I absolutely LOVE my house and will miss it, but its the area that I just cannot adjust to!
My plan is to move back to Queens and buy a two family.
