Britax Boulevard or Marathon?
Sorry I know this has been discussed many times before...Boulevard or Marathon for convertible car seat? Which one is better? From doing searches on here - seems most go with the Marathon. I took my sisters to register with me - both BTDT moms. One had the Roundabout and the other had the Marathon and both liked the look of the Boulevard better b/c of the little head rest thing. I'm thinking that may be annoying/not needed for the child once he/she's really in the toddler stage.
Thoughts please...
Here are pics - and note the Boulevard is more $$. Actually I think the prices just went up at BBB - registered just last week and I swear the Blvd. seat was in the high $200's...today it's showing $309! That's a lot of $ for a car seat! Marathon is $279.
Boulevard - $309
Marathon - $279
TIA!

Re: Britax Boulevard or Marathon?
We just got DD her "big girl" car seat, and opted against either of these.
We ended up getting for my car the Evenflo Symphony 65 (or something like that), as it also will serve as a booster when she is old enough (she's 12 months now). I figured she is going to be in the seat for a long time so we might as well get our money's worth.

We're going with the Boulevard with the CS feature. It was $329 when I first put it on my registry at BBB and now it's $279! All of the Boulevards are $279 at BBB now.
I like the extra cushioning with the Boulevard. Also, it may serve as a little headrest if the child falls asleep in the car when they're older.

Am I seeing things? I just looked on BBB and the regular Boulevard seat is $309. The one you mention you are getting - the Boulevard CS is $329... Here is the link: Britax Boulevard at BBB
The Marathons are the price you mentioned? I really think these prices just went up since last week.

Aw crap, they went back up! As of just the other day they were still at the lower price. $329 was the original price from when I registered like 1-2 months ago. Sorry!

Re: Britax Boulevard or Marathon?
It's like I could've written your post. I went this weekend to BBB and chose the Britax Boulevard, but I had planned on choosing the Marathon. Anyway, I chose the Boulevard for the added safety feature, but also since it was only ~$269 -- LESS than the Marathon! I asked the store associate why and he said it was an older model without some sort of safety clip. It definitely scanned at $269, but you are right - today it is $309. I think I will keep it on the registry anyway. I am hoping it is less in the store than it shows up on the registry...

We have the Boulevard for older DS. I love it and will most likely be buying another for the baby even though I have another new carseat at home.

too funny...I also went in planning on registering for the Marathon. I'm going to leave the Boulevard on - especially since I've been reading more on it. I like the side impact protection.
