Secondly, with my first I was wearing maternity clothes at 10 weeks. And I was pulling them out at 7 weeks this time.
Very, very few people feel flutters that early with their first. I think I felt DD at 19 weeks... in retrospect I remember feeling her earlier but I didn't know then what I was feeling. One of my BFFs didn't feel her first until 22 weeks. Totally NORMAL!!
I'm pretty sure I gained 6 or 7 pounds by 17 weeks the first time around too. And the weight gain only picked up speed from there!! Between my 20th and 24th week I gained 14 pounds. FOURTEEN IN 4 WEEKS!!!
"Normal" doesn't really mean anything. Everyone's different, every pregnancy is different and unless your doctor specfically tells you otherwise, you're "normal" too.
LOL everyone thinks I am having a girl!  I want it to be a boy so bad (just for this reason!)

oh gosh, you have NO idea!! LOL we didnt get "the shot" from the NT scan, I just have basically what is in my album

well i thought i was so slick with my beband. . . .until this weekend when i realized that none of my jeans fit over my BEHIND anymore!   forget about the stomach!

well, if it makes you feel any better, my best friend and i are one day apart. she's 3 inches shorter than me and we both started out weighing about 120 lbs, but, she has gained a total of 15 pounds. i have gained 40.
feel any better?
plus, her belly is more rounded. from the side, i look like i swallowed a watermelon whole. i literally look like there is a torpedo starting from my rump going up and diagonal to my belly.
it is quite hilarious...

OK I am going to make you feel so much better right now! My DH was sitting next to me and was like who is that. So I was like oh a girl on LIF. SO he goes "wow she must have had a 6 pack before she got pg....you can still see some definition." Just had to post that!

you look so tiny for 17 weeks! Most people don't feel the baby move till 19-22 weeks. I felt the first thump @ 18 weeks and than the next week was alot of movements. Don't worry- it's coming!!
