HSG test?
Has anyone got this done to make sure your tubes werent blocked?
is it painful...I am going for mine on Friday

it was not painful for me. But do a search because there are a ton of posts about it.

I had one done today. Basically, they insert a catheter, blow up a little balloon, and then push dye through to see if it flows through the tubes and spills out. I had some AF like cramps when he inserted the catheter and then major cramping when he blew up the balloon. After that, it's so quick and not painful afterwards.
If you're near West Islip I highly suggest Zilkha Radiology. They were SO nice and comforting.

I actually have to get mine done on Friday and I'm pretty nervous as well! I did a search on the internet and seems like there may be some cramping during and/or after the prcedure. My RE prescribed me some antibiotics to take in case of infection occuring. She also prescribed me some valium to take in case i need it. Good luck to you!
