Hah- yeah, THAT'S gonna happen....

Soooooo...... every summer in July we go to Ohio to visit my inlaws. DH's whole family travels back to their childhood home to spend a weekend catching up. He has 2 brothers and 2 sisters and lots of nieces and nephews.

Well, our due date is July 22nd. We both figured, "Oh well- we'll have everyone over after the baby gets here. Maybe for the baptism."

DH called his mom to tell her the news that baby #3 is a boy. She tells him, "BTW- your sister put in for her vacation time the weekend of July 16. I spoke with *everyone* and we were thinking maybe we'll all come to you....."

That's one week before my due date. To have 14 people come to stay for the weekend. In my townhouse. In July. Did I mention that it's one week before my due date?

I absolutely ADORE my MIL..... but she doesn't think sometimes. Thankfully, I didn't have to say a word. DH shut that down immediately. I even got to play the, "Well honey, if you really want your family to come, it's really OK with me...." To which he looked at me and .

my family goes to SC in July - I was due 8/12 last year, but everyone knew i was going early. They went July 3rd-10th... I was in L&D for contractions and dilation on July 8th. I called to let them know, and my Dad stopped drinking on the beach just in case they had to drive home quickly.
