Foods that aid conception
Hey ladies!
I was doing some research and came across some people who say that eating baby carrots, pineapple core, and pomegranate juice are supposed to help with TTC. I have heard of the grapefruit juice and whole milk but these were new to me. Has anyone ever heard of this or is using it themselves? I'm ready to try anything that might help

Re: Foods that aid conception
I was just reading an old issue of "Clean Eating" (not sure if that mag is even around anymore) and they had a fertility foods article. It said low fat diary can hinder fertility--and suggested going full fat. Of course, I can't recall why without the article in front of me. But they also said full-fat diary should be limited to 2 servings a day b/c of high fat. I personally can't stomach full-fat diary so I'm sticking to LF.
I think I read on these boards that carrots were also related to CM. Not sure about pineapple.

I read a similar article, and the rationale is that LF dairy is hard to digest, and somehow affects hormones, throwing them out of whack and potentially affecting coneption. I'll put 1% milk in my cereal, but I eat full fat everything else.
I drink one cup of grapefruit juice and one cup of green tea to help increase EWCM.

So during CD10-20, I eat a sweet potato everyday and drink a glass of grapefruit juice lol

I read something that said they use the carrots that are going bad, shave them down and dip the baby carrots in bleach to keep them longer lasting. I dont know what that does to us but I cant imagine its good.
sorry to be a debbie downer
