Monday QOTD
Good Morning ladies...
When did you & DH decide to TTC and whose idea was it?
For us with my DD we both decided to ttc right away b/c I knew that I had Endo & that it might take some time.. Fortunately it happened very quickly..
TTC#2 on the other hand hasn't been so successful.. I wanted to start TTC earlier than him (because he thought it would be as easy as last time) & I just had a feeling it was going to take sometime.. So instead of starting in August, we started in October.. and here we are in February and no #2 yet..But I do have hope and lots for February b/c I have been preggo 2 times in February.. I feel like 3 times a charm with this month...

DH and I were married in 9/09 and we both knew we wanted to TTC as soon as possible. DH would have liked for us to have started before the wedding but I wanted to wait until after the wedding. So September was my last month on BCP and we have been TTC ever since.

We both wanted to start ttc as soon as we were married. Our wedding was October 9. I finished my last bcp pack on Sept. 31. We've been tryiing ever since!

We got married July 08.
We wanted to wait for two things.
1. Buy a house which we did July 09
2. My sisters wedding which was Oct 09
Then we decided to get through the holidays with no stress and we decided on March. So next month is it for us and I cant wait to start

i've wanted to TTC since our wedding last year but DH wasn't ready. we just bought a house so i think he just wanted to make sure we were stable and settled before starting. he's so excited to start it's so cute. we were supposed to start next cycle, but we got to BDing a lil early so I'm currently in the 2ww.

I was definitely the one who was ready first thoiugh DH was clsoe behind. I wanted to try for a HM baby. DH wanted to wait for the next cycle. We both knew that we couldn't wait to long I am not getting any younger and I know the older I get the harder it will be.

We decided we would start TTC around our 1st wedding anniversary, which was September of 2008. Well, during our first year of marriage, I had significant back problems and was facing the possibility of surgery. Needless to say, we put TTC on the back burner. In early 2009 we got the "ok" from both of my surgeons to TTC. I elected not to have surgery and they said I could have back problems with a pregnancy, but it's also possible I may not. It still took me until July of 2009 to finally put the worries aside and start TTC. So we decided to start a long time ago, but kept putting it off out of concern for my back issues. I am still really concerned, but I can't put it off forever.

We knew we wanted to wait until after our 2 years anniversary before we have a child. After we bought our house, I've got bit by the baby bug. We got a dog instead last year, but now we finally both feel ready and this is our first month TTC. We've been married since April 2008, so we're pretty close to our 2 year anniversary.

I want to try now (6 months after wedding), but DH would like to wait, so we are waiting till the summer (1 year after wedding). We've been together for a long time, but have only lived together for a year and a half. We are older (32), but def. still go out most weekends, so DH is worried about changing his "life style". Of his closest friends, only 2 others are married and only 1 has a child, but the rest are pairing off so maybe we will have lots more company soon. Where as all of my closest friends, from before moving here living in MD, are married and most have children; but up here I'm in the same boat as DH.
